# Staff procedure output structure (ATIA edition)

This template supplies the output shape, not operational facts. Replace brackets using owner-confirmed information. Keep unresolved requirements visibly marked and drafts unapproved.

The tool drafts; the owner and the qualified person decide. Nothing in these files is verified for legal compliance or safe operation until the named qualified person says so.

## procedure.md

# [One job]

Status: DRAFT - PENDING OWNER REVIEW
[Include only if the job has a safety-critical step:] Safety-critical steps are drafted by an AI tool and are not approved until a qualified, licensed or certified person verifies them. The tool drafts; the qualified operator decides.
Business: [name]
Version / updated date: [version/date]
Used by: [owner-confirmed role, for example seasonal guide assistant, front desk, dock crew]
Ask for help: [confirmed supervisor role / approved escalation route]

**Start when:** [trigger]
**Finished when:** [observable completion]
**Have ready:** [tools, approved forms, access available to the role]

### Do the job

1. [Concrete first action; state what the employee sees or checks.]
2. [Next action in the real sequence.]
3. [Mark flags in place: MONEY / SAFETY / PERMIT-LICENSE. A safety-critical step also carries "VERIFY: qualified person". Missing safety content stays as [QUALIFIED PERSON TO SUPPLY].]

Safety-critical means: bear and wildlife, water and boats, glacier and ice, weather or road go/no-go, aviation, firearms, CPR and first aid, cold exposure, vehicle operation. The go/no-go decision stays with a named qualified role, never with the procedure or a new hire.

### Money, safety, permits and licenses: authorized roles and stop points

[Only relevant items, referring to step numbers so the sequence stays intact. Distinguish owner policy from external requirements. Guide licensing (AS 08.54) and ADF&G guide registration are legal mandates and not delegable. "No such steps identified for this task" is acceptable only if supported. Unconfirmed authority is a question, not an invented rule.]

### Three things that go wrong

| Problem | What to do / when to stop and ask |
|---|---|
| [1] | [owner-confirmed response or unresolved question] |
| [2] | [owner-confirmed response or unresolved question] |
| [3] | [owner-confirmed response or unresolved question] |

Aim for one readable printed page. A Markdown file is one-page *content*, not a verified layout. If producing PDF or DOCX, render and inspect before claiming one page or print readiness. Never hide unresolved facts or safety marks to meet a page count.

## quick-card.md

# [Same job]: quick card

Version: [same version/date as procedure]
Use with: [full procedure filename]
Ask for help: [same confirmed role / route]

1. [Short action]
2. [Short action]
3. [Short action]
4. [Short action]
5. [Short action]
6. [Short action]
7. [Short action]
8. [Short action]
9. [Short action]
10. [Short action]

Exactly ten numbered action lines. Title and version sit outside them. Keep stop points, MONEY / SAFETY / PERMIT-LICENSE flags, and "VERIFY: qualified person" on every line that carries a safety-critical step. Do not pad; do not compress away required checks. If the job cannot safely fit, keep the essential cues and refer to the full procedure. The card does not replace training.

## review-and-corrections.md

Status: [DRAFT - PENDING OWNER REVIEW / OWNER APPROVED]
Owner approval of this version: [pending / actual statement and date]
Layout: [not rendered / rendered and checked with date]

### Qualified-person verification

| Safety-critical step / card line | Qualified role (as supplied) | Verified? |
|---|---|---|
| [reference] | [role; never assign a person without consent] | [pending / statement and date] |

### Stress-test: list issues, do not rewrite

| Step / card line | Where a new seasonal hire could get stuck | Consequence | Owner question / proposed correction |
|---|---|---|---|
| [reference] | [specific gap] | [why it matters] | [question or fix] |

This critique finds potential comprehension issues. It is not verification of business facts, laws, permits or safe operating requirements.

### Owner corrections applied

| Actual correction | Procedure steps changed | Card lines changed | Rechecked |
|---|---|---|---|
| [feedback] | [references] | [references] | [yes / pending] |

### Unresolved facts

| Fact / approved policy needed | Affected step | Who the owner will ask | Status |
|---|---|---|---|
| [issue] | [reference] | [role if supplied] | [open / resolved] |

### Final review

- [ ] One job; steps in the actual order; start and completion clear.
- [ ] Responsibilities and escalation are supplied and understandable.
- [ ] MONEY, SAFETY and PERMIT-LICENSE steps are flagged where they occur.
- [ ] Every safety-critical step is marked "VERIFY: qualified person" in both files, and verification is recorded or pending.
- [ ] Three realistic problems with owner-confirmed responses or explicit questions.
- [ ] Ten card actions agree with the full procedure; dates and versions match.
- [ ] Owner corrections are reflected in both outputs.
- [ ] No guessed facts, roles, legal rules, limits or hidden placeholders.
- [ ] Owner or manager has reviewed the final version before staff use; safety steps verified by the qualified person.
